Yarkon Sources National Park is a nature reserve surrounding the source waters of the Yarkon river, and includes a large picnic and barbecue area as well as overnight camping. The park features natural springs and riverways, along with lush greenery, fish, and birds.

I loved the catfish! They were so cool and scary. I even liked the train tracks that were on a bridge. We saw a special train car that fixes trains. It's connected to Tel Afek, I liked that you can walk in between them and they're both the same map.

A pretty bit of nature 20 minutes from Tel Aviv. A great place for picnics and barbecues, not really much in the way of hiking trails. There are lots of catfish in the river, many kinds of birds, and very lush plant life including lovely lilypad ponds, trees, and riverbank reeds. There's also a campsite with basic facilities.
